Come join our amazing team and use your nursing skills to serve others in our fantastic facility. Our Skilled Nursing Facility provides a personalized working environment – this means we have management who are willing to work on the floor side-by-side with our aides and nurses when needed; management values staff feedback and most of our staff have been with us for many years – it truly is like a family. We have Long term Care and Short Term Care totaling 45 beds when at full capacity!

We are looking for individuals who embrace a reverence for life and a heart for healing. With enthusiasm and compassion, our Avalon family works with our patients and their families as well as with our communities to celebrate life every day! Avalon offers competitive pay with career growth opportunities including tuition reimbursement and career advancement courses. Some of our Nurse Managers started off as CNAs, then became LPNs, RNs, and even Directors!

WE ARE PREPARED FOR COVID-19! Join on with a company that is fully supportive and funded to protect not only its residents, but just as important – our employees. We provide PPE for our employees such as masks and face shields and if there is COVID-19 positive residents in the building we have added layers of protections such as N95 masks (we provide fit-testing), gloves, and full gowns. If we have any COVID-19 residents, they are placed in a separate COVID-19 Unit with dedicated staff for only that Unit. Still concerned? Ask the recruiter more when you apply about what we are doing to stay safe, prepared, and more than anything – what we are doing to be preventative.

We offer ZOOM video interviews to keep you and our residents safe during this pandemic!

SCHEDULE: 12-hour shifts; 3 on, 3 off rotating schedule with typically every other weekend off; if PRN, use the On Shift app to pick up shifts you’re available to work!

Depending on site-specific Federal, State, and County requirements, future Avalon employees may be asked to participate in COVID-19 testing procedures as a condition of employment.
